Nanoteknologi

Nanoteknologi mencakup pengembangan teknologi dalam skala nanometer, biasanya 0,1 sampai 100 nm (satu nanometer sama dengan seperseribu mikrometer atau sepersejuta milimeter). Sebutan ini kadangkala diterapkan ke teknologi sangat kecil. Artikel ini membahas nanoteknologi, ilmu nano, dan nanoteknologi molekular "conjecture".

Sebutan nanoteknologi kadangkala disamakan dengan nanoteknologi molekul (juga dikenal sebagai "MNT"), sebuah conjecture bangun-bangun tinggi nanoteknologi dipercayai oleh beberapa mampu dicapai dalam waktu dekat pada masa depan, berlandaskan nanosistem yang produktif. Nanoteknologi molekul hendak memproduksi bangun-bangun tepat menggunakan mechanosynthesis untuk memainkan produksi molekul. Nanoteknologi molekul, meskipun belum berada, dipromosikan oleh para pendukungnya nantinya hendak mempunyai dampak yang besar dalam masyarakat bila benar-benar aci.
